Pastor Timothy Pender is a native of Mansfield, Ohio and the oldest of three children. He is a degreed Pastoral Counselor and has a passion for working with married couples.  Pastor Timothy has a zeal for God’s Word, coupled with a love for God’s people and a vision to assist others in appropriating their correct location in the Body of Christ. 

He is the Senior Pastor and founder of God’s House Christian Church located in Simpsonville, SC. who strongly pursues the church’s vision of “Empower People, Encourage Community and Expand Kingdom for God’s glory”. 

He is a practical preacher/teacher who seeks to provide pragmatic application of the Word of God. He has worked in various level of ministry preaching, teaching and mentoring people to understand their god given purpose in life and to operate in confidence knowing that what God has destined for them is just for them! 

Pastor Pender has served 29 years in the US Army as an infantryman and human resources specialist.  During his service he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom I and Operation New Dawn.  He has a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, a dual MBA in Marketing and Management, Master in Information Technology management and Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling and Christian Leadership.  He also works part-time in his wife’s business, About Life and Marriage LLC as a coach and with the Greenville Literacy Association teaching Social Studies 

Pastor Timothy enjoys spending time with his family. Along with his helpmeet, Lady Yolanda Pender, they are the proud parents of two children, a daughter-in-love and six grandchildren.  As a dynamic ministry duo, They are dedicated servants of God and stand as a testament to what God can do in the lives of true believers.
